Pullman Miri Waterfront hosts CNY buffet preview

-

Pullman Miri Waterfront ushers in the spirit of reunion and new beginnings with a special Chinese New Year (CNY) buffet preview.

Pullman Kitchen – the hotel’s signature dining venue – had the honour of hosting the memorable culinary experience in the company of Transport Minister Dato Sri Lee Kim Shin, Interhill Group chief operating officer Eric Tan and general manager Alan Tham.

Business partners and special guests from the Miri Methodist Children’s Home were also invited to the dinner buffet preview on Jan 26, where they were served with a diverse selection of Chinese cuisine.

The highlight of the evening was the traditional ‘Prosperity Toss’ led by Lee, Tham and Tan.

This auspicious tossing of Yee Sang as part of the Pullman Miri Waterfront CNY’s course meals signifies luck, prosperity and abundance for the coming year, said Tham.

“The preview dinner is our gesture of warmth and inclusivity, and we are thrilled to have the children from the Miri Methodist Children’s Home to join us for this special occasion this evening.

“We believe in the power of coming together and sharing happiness,” he said, adding that the group remains committed to fostering a sense of community and spreading festive joy to the underprivileged.
