MRC Permyjaya receives haemodialysis machine from German group subsidiary
Permyjaya Miri Red Crescent Dialysis Centre now has a brand-new haemodialysis machine donated by TUV NORD (M) Sdn Bhd – a wholly owned subsidiary of TUV NORD Group in Germany.
TUV NORD acknowledged the importance of providing stateof-the-art medical equipment to support the healthcare needs of the community, hence has selected the centre as the beneficiary of the group’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) project, said the dialysis centre in a statement.
“This donation showcases TUV NORD’s dedication to making a positive impact and contributing to the well-being of society,” it added.
Permyjaya Miri Red Crescent Dialysis Centre is a non-profit organisation operating under the umbrella of the Malaysian Red Crescent Miri Branch.
“The dialysis centre is committed to providing essential haemodialysis treatment for those in need, ensuring that patients can gain access to highquality healthcare services.
“The organisation’s unwavering dedication to the welfare of its patients aligns seamlessly with TUV NORD’s vision for their CSR initiatives,” it added.
Founded in 1869, TUV NORD Group is a leading global provider of technical, safety, and certification services with over 150 years of history and longstanding commitment to CSR initiatives.
It started its operations in Malaysia in 1994, with its head office in Kuala Lumpur and branch offices in Miri, Bintulu and Labuan.
Permyjaya Miri Red Crescent Dialysis Centre said the donation is a significant enhancement to its healthcare infrastructure, and will empower medical professionals here to continue delivering top-notch dialysis treatment to patients.
The collaborative initiatives between businesses and nonprofit organisations would be beneficial in strengthening the local healthcare landscape and in creating a lasting impact on society, it added.
