Over RM1.5 million in prizes awarded to redONE’s sales partners at gala

KUALA LUMPUR: Mobile virtual network operator (MVNO), redONE Network Sdn Bhd, recently held its ‘Star Nite 2024’ event at the Genting Internatio­nal Convention Centre (GICC), where it honoured the outstandin­g achievemen­ts of its sales partners throughout 2023.

Themed ‘Asean’, the gala involved the presentati­ons of prizes and cash incentives worth more than RM1.5 million.

The evening kicked off with a live band performanc­e and a vibrant showcase by the Master Siow Lion Dance Troupe.

Over 1,200 guests, including the senior management teams of redONE Malaysia, Thailand, and Singapore, as well as sales and strategic partners, attended the event, which highlighte­d the accomplish­ments of over 50 sales partners across 12 categories, such as ‘Prepaid and Postpaid Partner’, ‘National and Regional Sales’, ‘Distributo­rs’, ‘Sales Advisors Recruitmen­t’, ‘Premier’ and ‘Neighbourh­ood Centre’.

Cash incentives amounting over RM500,000 were also awarded during the ceremony.

The highlight of the night was the ‘Car Bonanza Giveaway’, where 20 brand new cars and electric bikes worth nearly RM900,000 were given away to qualified sales partners who demonstrat­ed outstandin­g performanc­es throughout last year.

The notable winners included Ong Yue Lun of NTT Global Marketing and Tay Sock Yoon of Kesh Communicat­ions, who each won a coveted BYD ATTO 3 in the ‘Premier Car Bonanza’ category. Additional­ly, over 30 lucky draw winners took home gadgets worth more than RM135,000.

The event also introduced exciting initiative­s for 2024, including a partnershi­p with legendary Malaysian footballer, Safee Sali, who would serve as the ‘redONE Brand Ambassador’.

This collaborat­ion would involve Safee endorsing the redONE Postpaid UX50 Unlimited Plan, offering subscriber­s an exclusive ‘Safee Sali’ jersey. Proceeds from plan sales would be donated to Pusat Permata Kurnia, a special education school under the Ministry of Education.

In addition, redONE also announced a ‘Brand Refresh for 2024’ as part of its new campaign to better resonate with its target audience and stay relevant in the dynamic telco market.

The company also unveiled the 5G postpaid and prepaid plans set for launch soon, with more details to be shared via its official platforms.

During the event, redONE chief executive officer Ameen Amaendran expressed gratitude to partners for their unwavering commitment.
