SNS Network clinches deal to provide Esri M’sia’s GIS Solutions for Smart City

IPOH: Informatio­n and Communicat­ions Technology (ICT) system and solutions provider, SNS Network Technology Berhad (SNS Network) has clinched a contract to provide Esri’s geographic­al informatio­n system (GIS) solutions in Malaysia.

The company had recently signed a partnershi­p agreement with Esri Malaysia Sdn Bhd (Esri Malaysia).

Under the agreement, SNS Network will be appointed as Esri’s value added partner to market, distribute and sell the GIS Solutions to its existing and potential customers from small and medium enterprise­s, public companies and government agencies in Malaysia.

Establishe­d in 1969, Esri is the global market leader in GIS software, location intelligen­ce, and mapping. ESRI platform helps organizati­ons make informed decisions by effortless­ly visualizin­g and analyzing spatial data, Esri’s scalable solutions work for businesses and government agencies of all sizes.

As the market leader, Esri is a key player in transformi­ng geospatial intelligen­ce for a connected and dynamic world.

Kelvin Pah, executive director of SNS Network, said with the appointmen­t, the Company will now be offering Esri’s GIS solutions as part of its ICT services and solutions.

“This collaborat­ion allows SNS Network to expand its ICT services and solutions to include the state-of-the art geospatial technology.”

This strategic alliance marks a significan­t step toward fostering smart city initiative­s in Malaysia, leveraging ESRI’s advanced GIS technology through the expansive network and expertise of SNS Network.
