Leaders SHIELD hold firm at top of Civil Service League

S.H.I.E.L.D registered yet another victory on the 17th week of the Civil Service League II to cling to their steadfast lead into the Positionin­g Round.

The team of Nurafidza Mohd Amran, Nazrin Wagiman and Halimah Arrifin tamed The Cops 12-8 to earn 35.57 Peterson points and accumulate a total of 644.74 Peterson points.

Enjoying a lead of 40.24 Peterson points over SUK Bowlers, the title is only for them to lose in the final round of the 18-team league at Megalanes Sarawak, Batu Kawa.

S.H.I.E.L.D are also holding to their lead in the Team High Game (Scratch) and Team High Series (Scratch) categories since the 9th week with 764 pinfalls and 2,544 pinfalls respective­ly.

Whereas Nazrin is still leading the Individual High Game (Scratch) and Individual High Series (Scratch) categories with 300 pinfalls and 951 pinfalls respective­ly.

Despite the defeat, The Cops are also holding the fort in the Team High Game (Handicap) category with 705 pinfalls since the 11th week of the league.

Nur Qiesya Florida’s contributi­ons have earned her in the leading position of the Individual High Game (Handicap) and Best Female (Scratch) categories with 291 pinfalls and 803 pinfalls respective­ly.

SUK Bowlers are also standing strong at second position with 604.50 Peterson points a†er defeating the SUKBOM 11.5-8.5.

They gained 34.40 Peterson points to accumulate 604.50 Peterson points.

One Mixx returned to third position a†er registerin­g a 12.57.5 victory over UBC to collect 35.42 Peterson points for a total of 593.55 Peterson points.

Meanwhile, Dynamixxx leapfrogge­d from eighth to sixth position with 573.88 Peterson points following the 16-4 victory over PSKPP A to earn 39.43 Peterson points.

Other than that, De’1D also leapfrogge­d from 13th to 11th position a†er beating UiTM Crocs 16-4 and accumulate 537.64 Peterson points a†er gaining 38.20 Peterson points.

From fourth to 18th positions are The Cops, PSKPP B, Dynamixxx, The Cannon Balls, EVO, Medic Squad, Black Dragon Bowlers, De’1D, Pin Pocket, PSKPP A, Kuching Waterboard, UBC, UiTM Crocs, SUKBOM and SDO Mix Crocs respective­ly.
