Company’s relocation signifies industry safety’s steadfast developmen­t — Mayor

Mui Lee Enterprise’s recent relocation to new office premises signifies the steadfast developmen­t of industry safety here.

The safety equipment supplier for over three decades, which received a special visit from Mayor Adam Yii at Lot 969, Block 4, Piasau Industrial Estate recently, where the company’s officials took him for a tour and briefed him on industry safety.

Mui Lee’s managing director Chiew Pak Chung said Yii’s presence during the tour spoke volume on Miri’s commitment to the industry safety.

“During the tour, Mui Lee’s guiding principle of ‘ensuring that everyone goes home safe’ was evident, highlighti­ng the company’s relentless dedication to prioritise the safety of individual­s, particular­ly those in the maritime and O&G (oil and gas) sectors.

“The tour provided the mayor a close-up look at Mui Lee’s meticulous equipment inspection­s and stringent servicing protocols along with the company’s unwavering commitment to excellence in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all workers.

“Mayor Yii’s genuine interest in understand­ing our industry standards reaffirms the city’s dedication to fostering a safe and secure work environmen­t for all,” said Chiew in the statement.

In 1990, Mui Lee Enterprise establishe­d its hardware sales operation, which had slowly evolved into becoming a one-stop safety solution for maritime and O&G sectors in the region.

It now focuses its services on life-saving appliances (LSA), firefighti­ng equipment (FFE), safety and marine equipment sales and service centres that serve the maritime and O&G industries, locally and internatio­nally.
