GoInsuran celebrates three years of digital insurance mobility

KUALA LUMPUR: With 60 per cent of the Malaysian population lacking adequate takaful or insurance coverage, most Malaysians seem unprepared for not just automotive emergencies, but other major life obstacles in general.

In line with this, leading digital insurance aggregator GoInsuran aims to continue making the path towards insurance smoother and easier for all Malaysians as it celebrates its third anniversary.

“It has been both an honour and a pleasure to contribute to the evolution of insurance distribution and offerings in Malaysia over the past three years,” said Tan Chong Insure (formerly Tan Chong Insurance Business Stream) head Joshua Yong.

“We are commi ed to the pursuit of innovative solutions aimed at simplifying insurance processes, enhancing accessibility, and delivering personalised experiences tailored to each individual’s needs.

“Our overarching goal is to ensure that everyone is adequately prepared for unforeseen circumstances, thereby fostering greater financial security and peace of mind.”

Initially, GoInsuran was created in December 2020 to improve the process of car insurance and road tax renewal. From there, the platform grew to allow users to easily compare motor insurance prices from up to 12 of Malaysia’s top insurers — including 3 Takaful operators — at a glance, as well as provide comprehensive coverage that provides an endto-end package and a ractive value-added benefits for vehicle owners.

Now, its goal is to become the one-stop insurance e-platform for all kinds of coverage, with 10 and counting different insurance products including but not limited to travel, home, personal accident, and car insurance.

At its core, GoInsuran is designed to provide a seamless, effortless experience for its customers, whether that’s ge ing users free quotations or making payments through alternative plans.

“We understand that every user will have different, individual obstacles when it comes to insurance,” Yong continued. “Knowing this, GoInsuran aims to ensure that insurance conducted digitally is as pain-free and affordable as possible, which is why we offer payment options like the Easy Payment Plan (EPP) or the Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) model.”

In addition, GoInsuran is powered by automobile industry powerhouse Tan Chong Group — a Group with more than 50 years of experience in the market, solidifying its ability to provide peak service, value and security to its customers.

Another element that sets GoInsuran apart is its many collaborations with major players, including the likes of VISA, Bank Islam, CelcomDigi, and Yoodo.
