CUCKOO secures two silvers at Putra Brand Awards 2023
KUALA LUMPUR: CUCKOO International (Mal) Sdn Bhd achieved significant success at the recent Putra Brand Awards 2023, securing two silver awards in the ‘Personal, Household & Outdoor Appliances’ and ‘Home Improvement Products & Stores’ categories.
This recognition reflects a heightened level of trust and support from consumers, showcasing an impressive improvement from the previous year’s bronze award to two silver awards, according to a release.
“We are thrilled that our unwavering commitment to enhancing the well-being of Malaysians in their homes has resulted in these wins.
“This marks a significant milestone for us, not only as a consecutive winner at the Putra Brand Awards but also for elevating our status from bronze to silver this year,” said CUCKOO International founder and chief
executive office Hoe Kian Choon.

The two Putra Brand Awards complement CUCKOO International’s extensive list of achievements in 2023, spanning business, marketing and human resource excellence.
In addition to its awards, CUCKOO International expanded and diversified its portfolio of Healthy Home innovations in 2023, introducing two water purifiers, two air purifiers, its inaugural range of massage chairs, and a new mattress series.
The company also engaged Malaysians through exciting campaigns, including the ‘Lawan Lesu Dengan CUCKOO’ Ramadan-Raya campaign and the highly successful ‘Buy CUCKOO Win Condo’ Contest, which concluded in January.

The Putra Brand Awards, also known as the People’s Choice Award, was launched in 2010 by the Association of Accredited Advertising Agents Malaysia.
Endorsed by the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (Matrade), the award recognises brands that establish strong relationships with consumers.
Winners are selected through a survey involving over 11,000 Malaysian consumers across 24 product and service categories during an eight-week period.
