GES Global education roadshow back in Sarawak

The roadshow, targeted for Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia, Unified Examination Certificate, foundation, A-Level, Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia, diploma and degree students, features a diverse range of top-tier tertiary institutions from the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Switzerland, as well as various private tertiary institutions in Malaysia.
The education fair kicked off yesterday in Bintulu at Parkcity Everly Hotel, and continues today (March 8) in Miri at Pullman Hotel from 4pm to 8pm.
The next stop will be in Kuching tomorrow at Pullman
Hotel from noon to 5pm, followed by Tanahmas Hotel in Sibu on March 10 from 1pm to 5pm, NU Hotel in Bintulu (March 16, 1pm-5pm), and back in Miri at Pullman Hotel (March 17, 1pm5pm).
“Attendees can expect a variety of education exhibitors offering programmes from vocational to postgraduate levels, including notable universities from the UK, Australia, Ireland, USA, and Malaysia.
“The event provides invaluable guidance from counsellors and academics to explore study options thoroughly. Exhibitors are offering discounts, bursaries and scholarships, with some up to 100 per cent, for highachieving students.
“Interested students need only bring their result slips and identification cards for immediate application,” said GES Global in a statement.
Among the institutions featured in the fair is Northumbria University in Newcastle, which is offering a wide range of foundation programmes across various disciplines, including Applied Sciences, Arts, Business, Computing Science, Engineering, Humanities, Law, Mathematics, Psychology, and Social Sciences,
The UK university is currently offering support to international students through its Undergraduate International Scholarship, providing a £3,000 fee reduction for the first year of their three-year undergraduate programme.
For those pursuing postgraduate studies, Northumbria offers a Postgraduate International Scholarship featuring a £1,000 fee deduction.
Another is University of Huddersfield situated in
Yorkshire, which offers a welcoming environment with the second lowest student rent in the UK.
