Enjoy ‘buka puasa’ delights at Hotel Promenade Bintulu this Ramadan

-

BINTULU: The Pepper’s Café of Hotel Promenade Bintulu will be holding its Ramadan buffet, running from this March 13 to April 6.

According to Hotel manager Mohd Nomyni Mohd Yusof, the theme ‘Kampung Nostalgia’ signifies a delectable selection of ‘buka puasa’ (break-of-fast) delights such as ‘Kambing Golek’ (mutton), mini beef steaks, legs of lamb, grilled stingray, pepperand-turmeric fried prawns and eggplant ‘pajeri’ (local sweet chutney).

“We invite guests to try out other dishes as well such as stirfried fern shoots, meat ‘rendang’ (spicy stew), mackerel stew, and ‘Batawi’ lamb soup.

“We match the ambience with the theme, which highlights the nostalgia of breaking fast in the old days at one’s home town or village,” he said prior to the start of the Ramadan buffet’s preshowcase at the café yesterday evening.

The ‘Kampung Nostalgia’ Ramadan buffet is priced at RM98 for each adult, RM68 per senior citizen aged 60 and above, and RM48 per child.

The buffet is open from 6pm to 9pm daily.

The hotel also offers special room rates for Ramadan, which includes ‘sahur’ (pre-dawn meals) for two guests.

“The room rate under this Ramadan promotion goes for as low as RM199 per night, which includes either breakfast or ‘sahur’ for two people.

“Plus, our room guests get to enjoy the Ramadan buffet at only RM78 per person.

“So, we welcome all visitors to celebrate this holy month together with families and friends,” added Mohd Nomyni.
