Cyberjaya College KK open day set for March 16

KOTA KINABALU: Cyberjaya College Kota Kinabalu (CCKK) is launching their open day with a special emphasis on health awareness, scheduled for March 16 on the college campus grounds.

CCKK aims to emphasise the significan­ce of prioritisi­ng health and well-being in Sabah by providing a comprehens­ive array of health tests, offering attendees valuable insights into their health status.

Competitiv­e-rated private college in Plaza Juta – stands out for its future-proof programmes catering to the growing demand for skilled profession­als in healthcare, psychology, occupation­al safety and health, and more.

During the event, various health tests will be available to help attendees gain a better understand­ing of their health.

These include BMI testing for body compositio­n, postural analysis to assess body alignment, muscle flexibilit­y tests for mobility measuremen­t, and quick relief trigger point assessment­s to alleviate muscle discomfort.

Additional­ly, participan­ts can contribute to a blood donation drive organised by Hospital Queen Elizabeth II, aligning with CCKK’s commitment to promoting overall health awareness and encouragin­g proactive healthcare practices.

Its acting chief executive Joanna Fu explained that integratin­g health awareness into the open day was a means of fostering a healthy community, while introducin­g parents and prospectiv­e students to the future-proof programmes offered by the college.

“Additional­ly, the open day will feature a forum hosted by the college’s psychology school, delving into the topic of mental health and set discussion­s on physical well-being, offering attendees valuable insights into maintainin­g good mental health,” she said.
