Top property development industry players awarded at MPA 2023
The Malaysian Property Award (MPA) 2023, one of the most highly regarded awards in the property development industry, held its awards ceremony on March 9 at a hotel here.
The awards ceremony was hosted by the International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI) Malaysian Chapter as Malaysia’s real estate elites gathered to witness the prestigious awards ceremony.
This year’s award ceremony featured 15 categories, with a total of 22 awards presented including two individual awards. The winners were selected by a distinguished panel of jury and independent judges who have expertise and experience in the property industry.
Selangor Dredging Berhad (SDB) Group executive director Cheng Heng Keng received the Industry Luminary Award, while the Industry Chief Executive Officer award was presented to PNB Merdeka Ventures Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Datuk Aziz Tengku Mahmud.
Other winners included SkyAwani 3 Residences by SkyWorld Development Berhad and Taman Nuri Sentosa by Sri Pengkalan Binaan Sdn Bhd which won the Affordable Housing Development category.
Petronas Leadership Centre by Petronas Management Training SdnBhd and The Linc KL by PPB Property Development Sdn Bhd won the Specialised Property Development category; while Taman Puncak @Sepang (Summit Park) by Southville City Sdn Bhd and Elmina Rainforest & Knowledge Centre by Sime Darby Property (City of Elmina) Sdn Bhd won the Environmental Property Development category.
Parc3@KL South by Eupe Corporation Berhad, Sunway Geolake Residences by Sunway Integrated Properties Sdn Bhd, and The Estate by Bon Estates shared the Residential Property Development (High-rise) category.
The Heritage Property Development category was claimed by Eythrope Penang Hill by Saw Brothers Realty Sdn Bhd, while Industrial Property Development category was won by Nouvelle Industrial Park@ KotaPuteri by EXSIM.
Among the attendees was FIABCI former world president Dato Tong Kooi Chai, committee chairman and honorary advisor Tan Sri Yoeh Tiong Lay, honorary vice treasurer Wong Siew Kuan, honorary treasurer Yip Hui Chien, vice chairmen Dato Lau Mei Ying and Dato Tan Sow Chong, former president Dato Chua Say Eng, secretary general Dato Ho May Lin, and assistant secretary Lau Pui Shan.
