OCBC wins Kincentric Best Employer Award 2023

KUALA LUMPUR: OCBC Bank (Malaysia) Berhad (OCBC Bank) has been named one of the Kincentric Best Employers for Malaysia in 2023, the only bank to be listed in the ranking this year.

The award comes on the back of the Bank’s rollout of its peoplecent­red, forward-looking, and developmen­t-oriented initiative­s such as Future Smart, a skillsbase­d developmen­t initiative to ensure employees are prepared for the future of work through upskilling and reskilling programmes, leadership series for employees of all ranks, as well as mentoring opportunit­ies across the Bank.

OCBC also promotes talent mobility across the Group, and job rotations to allow employees develop new competenci­es through self-directed personal learning.

OCBC Bank head of human resources Kok Lai Ching said the award reflects the Bank’s focus on recognisin­g its people as its key asset.

OCBC Bank received the Kincentric Best Employers Award in 2016, 2017 and 2019 as well.

Congratula­ting OCBC Bank on its win, Kincentric partner and country head Ridhima Khanduja said OCBC Bank has been an active participan­t in the Kincentric Best Employers Malaysia surveys for more than a decade.
