KUCHING: Construction of Westfield Points Commercial Hub, a development project by developer Lee Onn Development Sdn Bhd (Lee Onn), is scheduled to be completed by August this year.

According to a press release, the 14.7-acre project, located at a prime location facing Kuching Sentral Bus Terminal at Jalan Penrissen here, features a twoin-one development concept of a 2½-storey shopping mall and 76 units of three-storey commercial shoplots.

The architect of this project has infused contemporary shopping elements into the Westfield Points Commercial Hub to enhance customers’ satisfaction and leisure shopping experiences.

Surrounding the 2½-storey shopping mall are the threestorey commercial shoplots designed with covered walkway connecting all the commercial shoplots as favoured by customers.

It is complemented by a spacious outdoor area for activities, allowing food and beverage merchants a more comfortable and spacious outdoor business experience that will serve as a perfect venue to host various marketing, sale and promotional events.

The shopping mall, which spreads over 2.2 acres of land, comes equipped with elevators, escalators as well as 100 car parking bays at the second floor which can be directly accessed from the main road.

H&L Supermarket has been confirmed as the anchor tenant of the mall and those interested to run their business here are welcome to contact the developer on the retail space available from the second floor onwards.

Interested investors can also choose from a variety of options in terms of floor areas at the commercial shoplots, which range from 66 x 22 feet to 66 x 49 feet.

In addition to the car parking bays at the shopping mall, Lee Onn is also planning to add another 130 parking bays at the ground floor of the mall as well as an additional 827 parking bays at the commercial hub to cater to both customers and tenants.

Upon completion, Westfield Points Commercial Hub will become another landmark along the Pan Borneo Highway.

The approved traffic light project at its vicinity will eventually provide direct road access from Kuching Sentral Bus Terminal to Westfield Points Commercial Hub while the upand-coming Autonomous Rapid Transit (ART) development will further add value to the commercial hub as one of the ART stations will be located at Kuching Sentral Bus Terminal.
