After years of research into human cells, a German skincare brand has created a premium skincare range to delay the signs of ageing.
FROM the ancient Mayans to swanky New Yorkers, people have always been obsessed with the fountain of youth. And today, there is a significant number of formulations being produced, touted to turn back time and prevent premature ageing.
German skincare brand Babor has come up with a new range that is said to delay signs of skin ageing by reducing fine lines, wrinkles, loss of elasticity and age spots.

After five years of research into human cells, Babor’s scientists have unlocked what is probably one of the biggest mysteries ever – the cause of cell ageing. The basic cause of freckles is a pigment called melanin that gives skin its colour. Sunlight on the skin encourages the production of more melanin in order to protect the skin layers underneath. If you have melanin that builds up in one place, it will result in freckles.
Sunlight also causes existing freckles to become darker. However, if it is hereditary (meaning you were born with freckles), it is unlikely for you to be able to get rid of them completely. Your best solution is to hide the imperfections using Estee Lauder Disappear Concealer. It is best you use a concealer brush with a small, firm bristle or dab it on with your ring finger, which won’t apply as much pressure as your index finger. This way you don’t tug on the delicate eye skin causing lines and wrinkles. Be sure to pat and not rub in the concealer.
