INDIE music lovers are in for a treat as Malaysia’s alternative music icon Hujan performs tomorrow at Pentas 1, Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre (KLPAC) at Sentul Park, Jalan Strachan in KL.

Hujan Special Acoustic Showcase is slated to be the band’s first full-fledged acoustic concert. Fans can expect to hear songs from their very first EP, 1,2,3, Go in 2007 to their 2010 album Lonely Soldier Boy in the twohour concert.

The band, consisting of lead vocalist Noh, keyboardist Dimas, lead guitarist AG Coco, bassist Izzat Uzaini and drummer Ambobzeela, sings about love, God, family and contemporary issues.

Throughout their career, success has rained hard and heavy on this Malay-language band with two EPS, three albums and two awards from the Anugerah Industri Muzik (AIM). On top of that, Hujan’s magnetic performance has filled up venues in Indonesia, Singapore, Ireland, Britain, France and Australia.

Show starts at 8.30pm. Tickets priced at RM78 are available online at www.ilassotick ets.com or call ilasso’s hotline 03-7957 6088.
