Mastering business management

-

HOLDING true to its commitment to continuously provide relevant innovative courses and life-long learning education, BERJAYA University College of Hospitality (BERJAYA UCH) introduces its newest programme, the Master of Business Administration (MBA).

BERJAYA UCH’s MBA programme is a oneyear course designed to introduce students to various disciplines in business and management.

This provides a path for students to pursue specialisations in International Business, International Hospitality and International Tourism.

This programme is developed with the working adult in mind. It offers a hybrid of teaching and learning methodologies that combine the flexibility and convenience of distance learning with the rigours and human dynamics of on-campus learning.

The programme also offers Modular Professional Courses, allowing students and participants the option of earning MBA units with Professional Certificates or Certificate of Attendance upon completion of selected modules.

Although classes are held at night and during weekends, much of the learning happens during the day and during weekdays when participants are at work.

The programme is designed to ensure there is minimal disruption in the students’ work schedules while enhancing their productivity.

The MBA programme of BERJAYA UCH considers the students’ actual work environment as a critical component of the learning process – a means to bridge the gap between theory and practice.

To narrow this divide, BERJAYA UCH enlists the services of the BERJAYA Group’s corporate executives to help the University College deliver highly specialised areas of study that can only be handled well by professionals.

The professional experience and expertise of the BERJAYA Group’s executives complement the highly qualified and experienced faculty members and adjunct professors of BERJAYA UCH.

A recognised Bachelor degree, preferably with two years of work experience, and proof of English language proficiency are required to join the programme.

Candidates without a Bachelor degree but with significant work experience may be considered for entry.

Be ready to take on the business world and turn Kuala Lumpur, the bustling capital and central business district of Malaysia, into your very own classroom, where only your imagination is the limit of what you can achieve.

Registration for BERJAYA UCH’s MBA April 2013 intake is now open.

To learn more about the MBA programme or to register for the open day, visit its website at www.berjaya.edu.my or call Dr Dominic Wong at 03-2687 7031.
