IFTC courses
The two-and-a-half-year full course is its signature programme, which trains students from A to Z with the necessary study curriculum to be an aspiring fashion star.
The programme includes design and creativity development, pattern making for all categories from casual, corporate, contemporary, evening and bridal styles to industrial and high fashion designer collections.
It also covers elective modules from stateof-the-art fashion IT design, merchandising and business as well as footwear and bag design to English Fashion Communication, French Conversation, runway presentation and fashion theory subjects.
Twinning degree programme in Paris
IFTC’s diploma graduates can obtain direct entry to the final year at Paris American Academy, France, instead of three years, saving time and cost.
Menswear fashion (new course)
IFTC introduces a new course in menswear, a growing prospect of the commercial fashion industry. The course – from beginner, intermediate and advance levels – is available full time for school-leavers and part-time for working adults.
Fashion and Lifestyle Entrepreneurship Course
This includes a masterclass by fashion expert/IFTC principal Annie Wong. This specialised course is for working and professional women seeking a second career option.
The programme will guide students in designing and producing finished products to creating a fashion or lifestyle label and website, operating online stores selling fashion, boutiques or wedding package deals for trading and retail businesses.
JPK fashion programmes
IFTC is a registered centre under JPK (Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran) to run Skill Malaysia fashion programmes from Level 1-3 (Certificate) and Level 4 (Diploma). Students in need can also obtain full study loans from PTPK.
