Que Sera Sera Art Exhibition

Artist Christine Das is showcasing her artworks themed Que Sera Sera that revolve around nature. Her works are expressed through fine lines, mosaic and texture on canvas. Some 25 paintings will be displayed alongside an additional series of four paintings titled Pickme Elefund which focuses on the precious pygmy elephants.

Thirty per cent of the proceeds received from sales of the Pickme Elefund series will be donated to the Borneo Conservati­on Trust while a yet-to-be determined portion of the proceeds from the nature-themed paintings will be donated towards a fruit tree-planting programme for the wildlife corridor.

Time: 8.30am-6pm (daily). Free admission.

NGO Charity Carnival

There will be 30 booths set up by not-for-profit social organisati­ons and government agencies. The public can find out more about the various services for senior citizens and women.

There will also be fund-raising stalls offering games, food and charity items for sale. Members of the public can support the carnival by purchasing charity coupons from the organisers’ booths.

In the process, you will help raise funds for two associatio­ns – Make A Wish Malaysia and A-Heart-For-AHeart – dealing with children suffering from life-threatenin­g conditions.

Entry is by pre-purchased tickets that are available at Make A Wish in Bangsar Shopping Complex (ground floor), Gadis Manis shop in Publika and Alliance Francaise.

There will also be a party on the same night, at the same place, with activities like wine- and cheese-tasting, entertainm­ent, as well as raffle prizes to be won that include an Air France ticket to Paris. Entry is also via tickets from the aforesaid venues.
