Que Sera Sera Art Ex­hi­bi­tion

Artist Chris­tine Das is show­cas­ing her art­works themed Que Sera Sera that re­volve around na­ture. Her works are ex­pressed through fine lines, mo­saic and tex­ture on can­vas. Some 25 paint­ings will be dis­played along­side an ad­di­tional se­ries of four paint­ings ti­tled Pickme Ele­fund which fo­cuses on the pre­cious pygmy ele­phants.

Thirty per cent of the pro­ceeds re­ceived from sales of the Pickme Ele­fund se­ries will be do­nated to the Bor­neo Con­ser­va­tion Trust while a yet-to-be de­ter­mined por­tion of the pro­ceeds from the na­ture-themed paint­ings will be do­nated to­wards a fruit tree-plant­ing pro­gramme for the wildlife cor­ri­dor.

Time: 8.30am-6pm (daily). Free ad­mis­sion.

There will be 30 booths set up by not-for-profit so­cial or­gan­i­sa­tions and gov­ern­ment agen­cies. The pub­lic can find out more about the var­i­ous ser­vices for se­nior cit­i­zens and women.

There will also be fund-rais­ing stalls of­fer­ing games, food and char­ity items for sale. Mem­bers of the pub­lic can sup­port the car­ni­val by pur­chas­ing char­ity coupons from the or­gan­is­ers’ booths.

In the process, you will help raise funds for two as­so­ci­a­tions – Make A Wish Malaysia and A-Heart-For-AHeart – deal­ing with chil­dren suf­fer­ing from life-threat­en­ing con­di­tions.

En­try is by pre-pur­chased tick­ets that are avail­able at Make A Wish in Bangsar Shop­ping Com­plex (ground floor), Gadis Ma­nis shop in Pub­lika and Al­liance Fran­caise.

There will also be a party on the same night, at the same place, with ac­tiv­i­ties like wine- and cheese-tast­ing, en­ter­tain­ment, as well as raf­fle prizes to be won that in­clude an Air France ticket to Paris. En­try is also via tick­ets from the afore­said venues.
