New Perfect Two

(TV2, astro ch 102 / hyppTV ch 102, 10pm) This Taiwanese comedic drama is a remake by director Kevin chu. It is based on his own 1984 film PerfectTwo, but this time starring Vic chou (of boy band F4 fame) as chen hanbin – a former superstar motorcycle racer who quits the sport after a bad tumble – and Xiao Xiaobin as binbin, the precocious son he never knew he had. It also features mini yang as chen’s ex-wife and ella chen as a neighbour who quietly admires hanbin from afar.
