Gentle solution for eczema
IF you or your children have eczema skin, you need to choose the right moisturiser to use. Eczema skin has the tendency to be itchy and inflamed when triggered by day-to-day allergens that do not usually affect children and adults with normal or dry skin.
Using over-the-counter moisturisers for dry skin may not be suitable for eczema skin and may make the skin condition worse.
Check the product label to ensure your moisturiser does not contain harmful ingredients such as added fragrance, sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS), artificial colouring, animal proteins and parabens.
How do moisturisers work?
Moisturisers are mainly formulated with “occlusive agents” that cover your baby’s delicate skin with a layer of oil to help prevent excessive water loss, keeping the skin moist. Some moisturisers have added “humectant agents”, which attract moistures from the environment to hydrate the skin.
Atopiclair Cream and Lotion a specialised product of France, manufactured in Italy. It is recommended by dermatologists and paediatricians worldwide as a specialised moisturiser that treats eczema without steroids.
It is safe for babies, children and adults and can be used on its own or in combination with conventional medications.
Atopiclair is said to have been clinically proven in helping relieve itch and inflammation. It is also said to provide long-lasting moisturising effect and restores natural oils of the skin.
Atopiclair may also be suitable for nappy rash and is said to reduce the sensitivity of inflamed skin and help relieve burning, itching and pain by protecting the skin from further irritation.
Daily use of Atopiclair may help reduce the dependency of steroid creams to control itch and inflammation. In a 43-day clinical study in babies, children and adults, the results have shown that more than 90% of Atopiclair users do not require help from steroid creams when applying three times a day.
As a tip, apply Atopiclair before your baby goes to sleep at night to help reduce scratching at night and for better sleep.
Mild stinging sensation may sometimes happen within the first few applications, especially when your baby’s skin is highly inflamed. Do not worry as this will go away after a few applications.
Atopiclair is formulated using key ingredients with CPR properties to “calm, protect and repair” eczema skin.
Apart of having just occlusive and humectant agents, Atopiclair is richly formulated with anti-inflammation, anti-itch, anti-protease and antioxidant agents working hard to continuously calm, protect and repair the skin.
When used as directed, it may help relieve the itching, burning and discomfort in atopic and hypersensitive skin.
Atopiclair is documented in published clinical trials to provide itch relief within minutes. The fastest time documented in clinical trials is said to be less than 2.42 minutes.
It offers powerful hydration and long-lasting moisture. It may even prevent excessive trans-epidermal water loss for up to 72 hours. It could also restore the natural oils in the skin.
