This Myvi edition is only for the fairer sex, and only 60 units have been produced.

PERODUA recently launched a special limited edition Myvi as part of its Female Empowerment Movement (FEM) campaign targeted at women.

“Perodua’s Female Empowerment Movement or FEM for short is to treat our female customers to something unique - a special limited edition Perodua 1.5 litre Myvi which is customised for the modern young woman in mind,” said Perodua president and chief executive officer Datuk Aminar Rashid Salleh.

Only 60 limited edition FEM Myvis were produced and are available in Ivory White decorated with a trendy sticker design.

The interior includes leather seat covers with the FEM logo, leather wrap steering, an exclusive multimedia system with navigation and reverse camera, solar and security window film, carpet mat with the FEM logo and an exclusive multipurpose container.

“All in all, we have included about RM4,000 worth of special features without increasing the price of the car,” said Aminar.

The cars however, can only be purchased by FEM members on a first-come-first-serve-basis.

To qualify, the applicant must be a woman and at least 18-years-old as well as own a Perodua car or at least drive one.

You also have to register at www.peroduafem.com.my microsite to be part of this movement and will be entitled to receive a mystery birthday gift, attend fun empowerment workshops as well as be invited to Perodua launches and workshops.

The microsite also provides a virtual fun place for FEM members to socialise, share experiences and get relevant information about FEM and other related information on women’s issues.

Perodua is targeting a membership of 10,000 women by the end of 2014.
