Breeze through the application process

- > FROM pReviOus pAGe

While it is not too late to enrol, applications have to be lodged immediately to secure the limited places available.

As registered UCAS centres in Malaysia, Education UK and JM are offering a nationwide UCAS application fee waiver campaign to qualified students who are interested to apply to leading UK universities for the September 2014 intake.

Education UK and JM can help students navigate through the application process, the choice of courses and universities, preparation of personal statements and reference letters for the first closing date of Jan 15, 2014.

Local school and college students can also take advantage of the UCAS fee waiver and complementary counselling services that may not be sufficiently provided for at their places of study.

UK universities also welcome credit transfer applications from Malaysia diploma and degree holders. Cases will be assessed individually on their merits subject to meeting entry requirements, matching of subjects and curriculum.

The UK Exhibition 2014 will be held at G Hotel Penang (Jan 10); KSL Resort Hotel Johor Baru (Jan 11); Cititel Hotel Mid Valley KL (Jan 12); Palace Hotel Kota Kinabalu (Jan 25); and Four Point Sheraton Kuching (Jan 26).

There will be 18 UK institutions taking part in Education UK and JM’s exhibition, to provide counselling and course information to aspiring students.

They are Astrum Education (Chelsea Independent, Duff Miller, Lansdowne College); Bellerbys College, Birmingham City University; Cambridge Education Group; University College Birmingham; Coventry University; University of East London; University of Hertfordshire; International Study Centre (Lancaster University, University of Surrey, University of Sussex); Kaplan International Colleges (University of Sheffield, University of Liverpool, University of Glasgow); Nottingham Trent University; Northumbria University; University of Portsmouth; Sheffield Hallam University; University of Sunderland; University of Southampton; Swansea University; and University of Wolverhampton.
