Enliten Ventures Sdn Bhd is Malaysia’s first privately held Skills Training Institute that offers Diploma and Certificate courses. These programmes are open to all students from the age of 15 onwards

Enliten offers its Diploma in IT Service Management, in addition to short-term certificate courses.

In line with its aim to offer more specialised courses, Enliten is the first institute approved to offer the Higher Diploma in IT Service Management in collaboration with South Essex College of Further and Higher Education.

A crucial part of Enliten’s educational programmes is on-the-job training. At the end of each programme, every student is sent for three months’ practical internship with one of Enliten’s many industry partners.

Thanks to the quality of the skills training received by each student, over 80% of students secure jobs in their respective fields even before graduation.

Every young person deserves an opportunity to thrive and this is something Enliten Ventures chief executive officer Anthony Raj passionately believes in.

“Enliten’s tagline is ‘From No One to Someone’, and we believe that every student that comes our way is a capable young person filled with potential.

“Thanks to our belief, we attract a diverse student body comprising young people from different backgrounds and capabilities.

“Every student is guided by our experienced and highly trained lecturers to achieve his personal best and I can honestly state that every student has exceeded expectations.”

All Certificate and Diploma courses offered are accredited and awarded by the South Essex College of Further and Higher Education based in the United Kingdom, one of the leading education and skills-training institutions.

Lessons are taught experientially and theoretically to ensure that students master not just the practical aspects but also the required knowledge to apply these skills at the workplace.

The Diploma course is structured to be 70% practical in nature and 30% theoretical. Each Diploma programme also includes courses in communication such as public speaking and conversational English to provide valueadded skills for students before they enter the workforce.

As stated by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, youths comprise 45% of our total population and play a major role in determining the country’s future. He said that towards this end, the government has allocated RM200mil solely for skills training of youths who were out of the education system.

Emphasising the importance of Vocational Skills Training, the government has implemented programmes such as Strategic Action Youth 1Malaysia or Sai 1Malaysia.

Enliten Ventures currently has two Skills Training institutions in Petaling Jaya and Kajang. It also offers accommodation for students and has an active Student Affairs Department that looks into the needs and welfare of its young charges.

The Student Affairs Department also organises field trips, seminars as well as fun and

charity-related activities for students.

Enliten will be conducting roadshows at selected schools. It is also offering a holiday course in Basic Computer Repair for all SPM and PMR school-leavers. For details, log on to www.enliten.com.my, e-mail info@enliten. com.my or call 03-7960 8096/8097.
