Award-win­ning road­show a huge suc­cess

NAZA Kia Malaysia’s Test Drive on Tour (TDKOT) road­show ends its five-month run on a high note af­ter at­tract­ing over 60,100 par­tic­i­pants.

In re­cent years, the TDKOT se­ries has be­come one of the most an­tic­i­pated road­shows in Malaysia.

It was a cross-coun­try ad­ven­ture for TDKOT in 2013, who made pit-stops at 1Utama in Pe­tal­ing Jaya, KSL City Mall in Jo­hor Bahru, Queens­bay Mall in Pe­nang, Sun­way Pyra­mid in Pe­tal­ing Jaya and Ala­manda in Pu­tra­jaya.

The Cer­ato, Pi­canto, Sportage, Sorento and Rio were the five mod­els from Kia’s award-win­ning line-up fea­tured in the road­shows and were avail­able to the pub­lic for test-drives. Th­ese five mod­els were all newly launched this year.

The Rio kicked off the year with its launch in Jan­uary.

Not long af­ter, the next-gen Sorento fol­lowed suit in March. The Cer­ato made its de­but in July while the all-new Pi­canto was un­veiled to the pub­lic in Oc­to­ber.

Al­most 5,000 test-drive par­tic­i­pants had the op­por­tu­nity to try out th­ese ex­cit­ing mod­els. Those who test-drove or booked a Kia model were en­ti­tled to ex­clu­sive Kia mer­chan­dise items such as Kia um­brel­las, or­gan­iser bags, sun­shades, stylish bags and T-shirts with award-win­ning de­sign.

Fans who liked the Kia Malaysia Face­book page were able to redeem Kia note­books while those who took part in the Kia cus­tomer sur­vey and quiz ob­tained Kia tis­sue boxes and mag­nets re­spec­tively. Own­ers were able to make ser­vice ap­point­ments at the road­shows and were re­warded with Kia lug­gage tags and ser­vice vouch­ers worth RM50.

TDKOT 2013 has re­ceived over­whelm­ing re­sponse and sup­port from the pub­lic with a 69.6% in­crease in test drive ses­sions, 1.4% rise in book­ings, 60.5% surge in Face­book fans and 152.2% up­take in ser­vice ap­point­ments, all from 2012.
