Award-winning roadshow a huge success
NAZA Kia Malaysia’s Test Drive on Tour (TDKOT) roadshow ends its five-month run on a high note after attracting over 60,100 participants.
In recent years, the TDKOT series has become one of the most anticipated roadshows in Malaysia.
It was a cross-country adventure for TDKOT in 2013, who made pit-stops at 1Utama in Petaling Jaya, KSL City Mall in Johor Bahru, Queensbay Mall in Penang, Sunway Pyramid in Petaling Jaya and Alamanda in Putrajaya.
The Cerato, Picanto, Sportage, Sorento and Rio were the five models from Kia’s award-winning line-up featured in the roadshows and were available to the public for test-drives. These five models were all newly launched this year.
The Rio kicked off the year with its launch in January.
Not long after, the next-gen Sorento followed suit in March. The Cerato made its debut in July while the all-new Picanto was unveiled to the public in October.
Almost 5,000 test-drive participants had the opportunity to try out these exciting models. Those who test-drove or booked a Kia model were entitled to exclusive Kia merchandise items such as Kia umbrellas, organiser bags, sunshades, stylish bags and T-shirts with award-winning design.
Fans who liked the Kia Malaysia Facebook page were able to redeem Kia notebooks while those who took part in the Kia customer survey and quiz obtained Kia tissue boxes and magnets respectively. Owners were able to make service appointments at the roadshows and were rewarded with Kia luggage tags and service vouchers worth RM50.
TDKOT 2013 has received overwhelming response and support from the public with a 69.6% increase in test drive sessions, 1.4% rise in bookings, 60.5% surge in Facebook fans and 152.2% uptake in service appointments, all from 2012.
