Turning 80 in style

-

ROUNDING off a series of celebratory pool parties in Sanya, Bangkok and Jakarta, Lacoste held a bash in Kuala Lumpur last month.

Aloft Hotel’s Mai Bar was the setting for an evening filled with fun and entertainment, to commemorate Lacoste’s 80th anniversary.

Upon arrival at the venue, guests were welcomed by the host, Jason Godfrey. There, they took photos of themselves with all kinds of Lacoste props.

Inside, there was a bar area where guests were served wine, champagne and canapés, while surrounded by some of Lacoste’s latest releases on display. There was also a popup store where guests could get a feel of the 80th anniversary collection.

The whole bar was decorated with eye-catching visuals, including a giant screen for live video streaming. However, the pool area was where the most fun could be found, with its lights, pink sofas and plenty of games. The pool itself was filled with glowing balloon floats.

While models – garbed in Lacoste, naturally – mingled with the crowd, a manicure specialist was on hand, working her magic on those who wanted to experience Croc-themed nail art.

Starting with a fashion presentation, there was plenty of on-stage entertainment for guests to take in. First up were violinist Dennis Lau and beat-boxer KouJee, followed by a set by DJ Goldfish and Blink, and finally a performance by dance group Elecoldxhot.
