The beauty of Angsana

The Star Malaysia - Star2 - - STAR SPECIAL STAR HOMES & PROPERTIES -

tHE Angsana tree (pterocarpus indicus) is a native of SouthEast Asia. Large and leafy, it is particularly valued for providing ample shade. For this reason, it was selected as part of the Malayan urban planting of the late 1800s.

More than 120 years later, the Angsana tree is still popular today, planted along roadsides, parks and open spaces, generously shading people from the hot sun.

Taking inspiration from the Angsana tree, CS Alloy Design (M) Sdn Bhd (CSA)’s creative director Glenn Wong created the Angsana Gate, the main piece of CSA’s Foliage Allure series. CSA is Malaysia’s leading decorative metal design company.

“Although the gate radiates a modern design, the Angsana tree silhouette brings you back to its roots,” Wong commented on his brainchild. “The outcome is a contemporary yet historic blend of shadowy leaves and modern lines.”

Built using CSA’s latest Aluminium T6 technology, together with recycled alloy, the Angsana Gate is without a doubt the pinnacle of environmentally friendly green gate. Aluminium is 100% recyclable and can be recycled over and over without loss of its properties or quality.

As a green company, CSA’s green gates are made from over 50% recycled aluminium. This reduces the need to excavate for raw aluminium.

CSA’s conservation efforts are recognised by the Singapore Green Label (SGL) and CSA has been officially endorsed with a formal certification by the SGL.

Aside from caring for Mother Nature, there are other benefits to choosing aluminium gates rather than traditional iron gates. First of all, aluminium is invulnerable to corrosion.

Exposed to the harsh outdoor weather, iron gates would easily rust while aluminium gates will not.

Aluminium weighs substantially less than iron. The massive weight reduction means less stress on the auto-gate system, which translates to less maintenance cost to the homeowner.

Furthermore, through tedious research and development, CSA’s technical department has recently unveiled a new auto-lock mechanism that securely locks the gate as soon as it closes. This intelligent lock mechanism is specifically designed to thwart barge-ins. The CSA Auto-Lock also comes with a set of keys that work seamlessly with its auto-gate systems.

With ample confidence in its products, CSA is providing customers exclusive benefits such as lifetime warranty against rust, extended colour lifetime as well as extended auto-system lifetime.

To compare with traditional iron gates, CSA’s warranties actually mean considerable savings on maintenance cost.

There are no more worries about your gate rusting away, repainting it time and again or having the auto system breaking down often.

CSA gate owners can have peace of mind with CSA backing these warranties without any annual charge.

Committed to delivering the best products and professional services possible, those interested in more details may contact CSA by calling 1800 883 839 or look up www.facebicmetal.

The Angsana Gate is without a doubt the pinnacle of environmentally friendly green gates.
