UNITAR invites Libyan students

uNITAR Internatio­nal University, one of the first private higher educationa­l Institutio­ns in the country, is set to increase its internatio­nal student fraternity by participat­ing in the Education Malaysia Exposition in Tripoli, Libya.

UNITAR’s main objective of participat­ing in the expo was to expose the Libyan market to Malaysia’s education system as well as to introduce its innovative social sciences programmes.

Over 20 education institutio­ns from Malaysia took part in the two-day education expo on Jan 13 and 14, 2014, showcasing their course offerings.

“It is time for UNITAR to increase its presence in internatio­nal exposition­s such as this. This year, our target is to strengthen our presence in the Indian subcontine­nt, South-East Asia and in the Middle East,” said UNITAR Internatio­nal University strategic alliance and communicat­ions office director Sheikh Fahmy Sheikh Mohamed.

“We definitely hope to continue to grow our internatio­nal student numbers by another 60%. UNITAR provides value-for-money and high-quality education within a comfortabl­e environmen­t.

The university’s new campus in Kelana Jaya with extensive facilities such as student lounge, library, dance studio and flexible classrooms is located beside the Kelana Jaya Police Station, and the amenities close by include major establishm­ents such as Giant Hypermarke­t, Paradigm Mall, Empire Shopping Gallery, Sunway Pyramid and Subang Parade.

UNITAR Internatio­nal University is registerin­g new students in all its campuses in Malaysia from now until Feb 14.

A unique feature of UNITAR is the existence of 10 regional centres in different locations. Access to education is a primary goal of UNITAR and students can choose to study its courses through the 10 regional centres at Kota Kinabalu, Kuching, Alor Setar, Kota Baru, Johor Baru, Ipoh, Penang, Malacca and Jengka.
