The show is a milestone as it gathers talent from outside the industry in a radio drama for the first time, with local celebrities Steve Yap, Jane Ng and Soo Wincci lending their voices to the characters, together with Star rFM 988 deejays Cheryl lee ( and Chan Fong.
There will be a total of eight stories with 16 episodes in this Chinese drama, each revolving around interpersonal relationships that are both relevant and relatable.
“I am excited and nervous at the same time, as this is my very first project for 2014,” says lee.
“Although I have done radio drama before, this is the first time I am working with talent like Steve Yap, Soo Wincci and Jane Ng on one.”
988 Morning Up announcer Chan Fong, who is thrilled to be part of this project, says: “I get to work with people I have known for years, and also people who are making their first appearances on radio drama.
It is new and fresh for our listeners, especially those who are looking forward to celebrating Chap Goh Meh and Valentine’s Day.”
