Conducive learning environment to study early childhood education

-

HAZLIN Hussein, one of the top five students for 2013 who has completed her Diploma in Early Childhood Education in Kolej DiKa, shares her experience.

“I never thought studying at Kolej Dika would be an amazing and memorable experience for me. In early 2009, I resigned from my executive job as a Quality, Health, Safety and Environment Administrator to pursue my dream to open my own kindergarten.

“In May 2009, I enrolled at Kolej Dika as a part-time student in Diploma in Early Childhood Education.

“At Kolej Dika, students are encouraged to participate in group discussions and presentations during the lessons.

“I was impressed with the lecturers at Kolej Dika.

“They are qualified, knowledgeable and experienced in early childhood education.

“The lessons were conducted in a fun and relaxed manner, since we were involved in playing games, role-playing and building projects.

“Now, I am able to observe and handle children behaviour better as I know how to deal with them according to their age and gender.

“Today, my dream has come true and what I have learnt in my Diploma in Early Childhood Education definitely helps me in operating my own child enrichment centre.”
