Opportunities at new campus
EQUIPPED with state-of-the-art facilities to provide students with the best learning environment possible, SENTRAL College Penang’s new 14-storey campus in Penang Street is all geared up to welcome the February and March intakes.
The college offers dynamic programmes at affordable fees and plenty of scholarships.
Courses available include Pre-U, Business, Information Technology, Tourism, Accounting, Early Childhood Education and Education.
Two recent additions are Cambridge ALevels and Diploma in Accounting.
The programmes are approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and exceed the standards of excellence required by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency.
SENTRAL is also a leader in the ACCA professional programme — it obtained the Gold Status Approved Learning Partner award in 2010 and was invited by ACCA to be upgraded to Platinum Status last year, after meeting the stringent performance target.
Platinum is the highest award given by ACCA and SENTRAL is the first college in the northern region to achieve this.
The college is also one of UNITAR’s regional learning centre offering academic courses.
One of the latest is the Master’s of Business Administration which allows students and working adults to enroll with RM10,000 worth of scholarship through the government supported funding MyBrain15.
SENTRAL’s Merit Scholarship and Leadership Award provides up to 100% tuition fee waiver.
The college has been shaping up its industry links to provide opportunities for practical training, internships as well as temporary and permanent job positions.
All programmes are developed through close consultation with senior academia and business and industry partners.
The college is having its Info Week from today to Feb 23 where the Head of Schools will be present for counselling and students will be taken on a tour of the campus.
