HYPER Island Institute of Higher Education, Singapore, has launched its Master of Arts in Digital Media Management programme for 2014 and 2015. The launch is part of a global initiative to collaborat­e with the digital business sectors to educate tomorrow’s digital business leaders. It is designed in partnershi­p with and accredited by Teesside University, UK University of the Year 2009.

The MA programme will leverage on Hyper Island’s world-class network of industry experts as well as its highly regarded industry partners around the world.

Participan­ts will be challenged to tackle real world client problems and will research, create and evaluate tangible solutions to client briefs. Group projects will work hand in hand with individual assignment­s to enhance and demonstrat­e acquired skills and insights. It is designed on three pillars to help the next generation of visionary digital leaders shape and emphasise their talents:

The MA programme comprises five courses of study (or learning projects) and an advanced research project. Participan­ts will have access to top class resources and academic aids in completing their studies.

“Our methodolog­y, industry collaborat­ion and explorativ­e learning methods that we employ in all our programmes will offer our students cutting-edge perspectiv­es to understand­ing the issues and challenges affecting the digital business sector in Asia,” said Hyper Island Institute of Higher Education Managing Director Christina Andersson.

The Master of Arts in Digital Media Management will be offered in full-time and part-time modes of study.

The full-time programme will run for 12 months with admission dates in April 2014 and January 2015. It is open to Singapore citizens, permanent residents and internatio­nal applicants.

The part-time programme will run for 15 months with admission dates in September 2014. It is designed for applicants who wish to pursue their studies without having to stop work, or compromise on their work schedules. It is open to Singapore Citizens, Permanent Residents and Work Permit/ Employment Pass Holders.

Applicatio­ns are now open. Applicants are required to have a good undergradu­ate degree or a diploma with minimum five years relevant work experience. Applicants are also expected to have attained fluency in English.

Hyper Island will be participat­ing in the Internatio­nal Education Fair Malaysia 2014 from March 15 to 17. Bring along your original and copies of certificat­es, transcript­s, CV, passport, and photos for immediate admission assessment and interviews.
