Giving you clean air all the time

HEALTHY living begins with good air quality. Panasonic’s range of air purifiers brings the magic of clean and healthy indoor air to all in the family.

As the air gets more polluted every day, pollutants accumulate within our homes. These pollutants are invisible and pose a threat to our health.

With that, Panasonic has a range of air purifiers that comes in both humidifying and non-humidifying models.

The top of the range model is the F-VCF70, which covers a 52sq m area. It uses Panasonic’s Nanoe technology which has the ability of removing hydrogen from viruses, bacteria, odours and allergens.

The Nanoe is a nano-sized electrostatic atomised water particle. It has a six times longer lifespan compared to a normal ion and contains moisture of around 1,000 times to minus ions.

While normal ions decay before they can disseminate throughout the room, Nanoe particles spread to every corner effectively after five minutes.

The Nanoe particle inhibits 99.9% of viruses and bacteria. These include the H1N1 virus strain as well as the E.coli 0157.

The Nanoe also promotes skin hydration as the particles attach themselves to the sebum, forming membranes on the skin, which prevents moisture loss after exposure to the purifier for 30 minutes.

In the model F-VCF70, the Nanoe particles are extracted from the moisture in the air, making water replenishment for the appliance unnecessary.

Certain models are also equipped with the ECONAVI, an eco-operation mode that runs the appliance only when necessary.

It is an intelligent technology that monitors daily activities and memorises the pollution levels throughout the day. It then controls the purifier operation before pollutants can spread throughout the house.

It first checks for pollutants via odour and house dust sensors at 10-minute intervals per hour under medium speed. It learns the pollution pattern by studying the timeline and its intensity.

The speed of the purifier will then reflect the data gathered from the ECONAVI. It operates automatically before pollutants spread and saves energy too as it cleans before the pollutants spread throughtout the room.

The ECONAVI also minimises unnecessary operation. Using ECONAVI saves you 50% of what you normally would use in the normal mode.

The Mega Catcher traps everything from the ceiling such as odours, smoke and small floating particles. When pollutants are detected, the front panel will open according to the pollution level for effective purification.

It traps fine pollutants such as mites’ droppings and dead insects from the ceiling to about 30cm in height.

In larger houses, dust and pollutants usually hover just above the floor level, such as pollens, dusts and larger pollutants. The Mega Catcher traps all these and purifies the air.

From there, the 3D circulation airflow delivers the purified air in two modes.

The “upward airflow” takes in air from the top, bottom, left and right and delivers purified air directly upwards in a 90-degree angle.

It targets gaseous pollutants such as odours from cooking, waste, pets, cigarette and mould.

It also attracts pollutants under two metres such as mould spores, viruses, cigarette smoke and airborne bacteria.

The “front airflow” mode takes in air from a large opening at the bottom and dispenses the purified air in a 60-degree angle.

It is perfect for filtering out pollen, dust, dust mitex and pet dandruff from the air.

The integration of the humidifier with the Nanoe helps to replenish the moisture back to the skin. During humidification, the sensor will show the humidity level of the room and control the operation accordingly.

Panasonic’s composite air filter is divided into two portions: a glass filter and a high speed static-electricity filter.

The designs are smart with features such as “spot air mode” for targeting specific areas and a light sensor.
