Can you tell a Medjool from a Zahedi, Safawi or Rotab Mazafati? Over a dozen dates and their taste profiles are highlighte­d in this feature.

No time for a meal at a restaurant? Well, pump the brakes and take a gander at the best meals on wheels. From hearty pastas and casual fare like sandwiches and pastries to coffee for the weary soul, track down these on-trend meal wagons that service the Kuala Lumpur city centre and the Damansara and Subang Jaya areas in Selangor.

This month’s Coffee Culture column goes caffeine crazy with an in-depth look at coffee dessert pairings, some personal time with the La Marzocco coffee machine, and the newest rising bean in Subang, The Bearded Lady.
