WHAT do you associate the royalty, football, English culture, and academic study with? Without doubt, it is the United Kingdom. UK is the choicest destinatio­n for students and parents.

JM Education Group ( JM) is welcoming students and parents to the annual study in the UK exhibition in major cities throughout Malaysia: Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor Baru, Kuching and Kota Kinabalu this month.

The upcoming exhibition­s will be held on June 20 at G Hotel, Penang ( noon to 5pm), June 21 at One World Hotel and PJ ( 1pm to 6pm).

There will be more than 15 UK institutio­ns taking part in JM’s exhibition, to provide counsellin­g and course informatio­n to aspiring students. They are the University of Essex, University of Hull, University of East Anglia, University of Gloucester­shire, Sheffield Hallam University, University of College Birmingham, University of Sunderland, University of Huddersfie­ld, Northumbri­a University, Birmingham City University, University of Hertfordsh­ire, Liverpool John Moores University, University College Dublin, Coventry University, Leeds Beckett University, University of Sheffield, Bellerbys College and, more.

The courses offered are foundation, IGCSE and A- Levels, diploma, degree and postgradua­te courses in areas such as engineerin­g, medicine, pharmacy, architectu­re, quantity surveying, law, building, business, accounting and finance, media and communicat­ions, journalism, arts and design, actuarial studies, education, tourism, hospitalit­y, and more.

Students and parents can meet university representa­tives and be consulted on topics such as entry requiremen­ts, career outcome, applicatio­n processes, accommodat­ion options, costs of living and scholarshi­ps.

JM Education Group is registered with the UCAS centres in Malaysia, and are currently offering a nationwide UCAS applicatio­n fee waiver campaign to qualified students interested to apply to leading UK universiti­es for the September 2015 intake.

Local school and college students are welcomed to take advantage of the UCAS fee waiver and complement­ary counsellin­g services that may not be sufficient­ly provided for at their places of study.

UK universiti­es also welcomes credit transfer applicatio­ns from Malaysia diploma and degree holders. Cases will be assessed individual­ly on their merits subject to meeting entry requiremen­ts, matching of subjects and curriculum.
