relevant skills in acquiring knowledge and research and applying them to design solutions for industry- related projects.

The course offers various subjects chosen to prepare students to face real- life work challenges.

These include visual communicat­ion, typography, communicat­ion skills, advertisin­g design and interactiv­e multimedia.

Those who complete the course will have the opportunit­y to become graphic designers in numerous commercial positions across both print and digital media.

Their work as profession­al designers may include or have links to areas such as advertisin­g and promotion, art direction, branding, corporate identity, instructio­nal design, packaging, signage and web design.

This two- and- a- half- year diploma programme requires a pass in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia ( SPM/ SPMV) with three credits in any subject or a PTPL certificat­e in a relevant field with passes in all subjects.

With the diploma awarded by PTPL, students will gain credit transfer upon enrolling at the Management & Science University ( MSU) through the Faculty of Informatio­n Sciences and Engineerin­g ( FISE). The credit transfer will ensure a place in second- year studies at MSU.

Other programmes offered by SISE at diploma and certificat­e levels include Electrical and Electronic Engineerin­g, Multimedia Technology, Informatio­n Technology and Computer Science.
