There are three fundamental music courses in group learning for children – Music Wonderland, Junior Music Course and Junior Step Fundamental Course.
The course is aimed at children as young as three – the age when children are getting creative and making significant developments in sensitivity and understanding. It nurtures their appreciation and love for music, willingness to express,

concentration skills and rhythm sense through music in various ways such as singing and dancing.
The provides a strong musical foundation valuable for further piano or instrumental study. This caters for children from age four to five. They will be more focused on singing, playing, reading and creating music with emphasis on developing listening skills.
Children aged six to eight and above are encouraged to join the
Junior Music Course
Junior Step Fundamental Course.
At this level, their fundamental skills would be further enhanced, while acquiring the ability to play repertoire pieces given in the textbooks. They would also gain knowledge of tones, methods of expression, basics of orchestration and be introduced to improvisation and composition.
There are also other courses for students of all ages, including teenagers and adults. There are three preferable courses – Yamaha Electone Course, Yamaha Piano Course and Yamaha Popular Music Course.
The offers a fun and relaxed journey to discover the versatility of the Electone. It also focuses on the technique of arranging music on the electone that showcases creativity and musicality. Students are encouraged to participate in Yamaha concerts and competitions.

playing techniques and improve listening skills. Students are given room to hone their individual styles and interpretations in playing and improvising music. Like the Yamaha Electone Course, students are given the opportunity to perform in Yamaha student concerts that builds their general musicianship.

Yamaha Popular Music Course
is famous for its three E’s – Exciting, Effective and Enjoyable. This course is for wannabe musicians to discover their musicality in their favourite musical instrument. What makes it fun is that students are allowed to get the virtual band experience. The Yamaha Popular Music Course is available for:
