Its permanent campus is strategically located in Lumut, Perak, relatively known as the home base of the Royal Malaysian Navy equipped with ports and wharfs and one of the centres for maritime demanded by local and international marine engineering companies.

UniKL MIMET offers Diploma and Bachelor in Engineering Technology programmes such as Ship Design, Ship Construction & Maintenance, Marine Engineering, Marine Electrical & Electronics, Maritime Operations and Naval Architecture & Shipbuilding.
