Informative session

BERJAYA University College of Hospitality recently organised a B- Talk Series session which featured Anas Zubedy.

Titled “What to do in the first four to seven years of your working life”, the talk captivated the audience. Anas was invited to present a talk on an exciting and relevant topic that many students questioned but could never quite get an answer to.

It was a fun- filled morning with Anas commanding the floor with his charisma and knowledge in the subject matter.

During the one- and- a- half- hour talk, Anas’ antics made the session exciting for the audience who comprised students from various programmes offered at the university college. Anas shared valuable “survival” tips on how to “make it” in the competitive working world.

Anas is the managing director and founder of Zubedy ( M) Sdn Bhd, a training and development organisation specialising in personal change, marketing, leading leadership and managing across- generations programmes.

He is also a social activist who spends a lot of his time, energy and resources in promoting unity. He has authored many books, which cover topics such as unity, socio- politics, nation building and selfdevelopment.

Apart from an already busy portfolio, Anas also finds time to write for China Press, contributes to The Star columns and some online media platforms.

He was also the recipient of the Anugerah Kalung Perpaduan in 2009 and the inaugural Anugerah Integrasi Nasional Usman Awang in 2014.

The audience listened intently to Anas and were amused by his unconventional advice on what to do in the first four to seven years of their working life.

He talked about his past experience and shared tips on how to be top management material.

As the session came to an end, the students were more motivated and excited about their future as working adults.
