Hospitality to the fore
ONE of the fastest growing sectors in the world is Hospitality and Tourism, fuelled by the explosion in affordable and easy travel. Because of this, there is a growing demand for hospitality providers – people who can be counted on to deliver first- class services to customers, to ensure they feel at home no matter where they are.

The degree programmes are:
– Bachelor in Hospitality Management ( Hons):
This three- year programme explores the fascinating worlds of lodging, food service, meeting planning, travel and tourism as well as related business areas that make up the hospitality industry.
The teaching and learning aspects of the programme have been developed to reflect the latest industry trends while also addressing what the industry is doing to adapt to the changing needs and wants of international travellers. SEGi also offers the option of a dual degree programme with University of Sunderland, United Kingdom.
These students will have to complete extra modules to graduate with two degree parchments – SEGi University and University of Sunderland.
– BSc ( Hons) International Tourism and Hospitality Management ( 3+ 0):
Managing tourism and hospitality businesses requires strong business acumen. With this programme, graduates will be ready to be part of the ongoing growth of the hospitality industry in areas such as hotels, restaurants, conference centres, cruise liners, travel agencies, tourist attractions, recreation and sports and cultural centres.
Students will study modules to prepare them to be leaders in the tourism and leisure industry, including event management and tourism management.
The modules reflect the actual programme offered at University of Sunderland, United Kingdom, so anyone can now pursue this qualification locally.
