AT Infrastruc­ture University Kuala Lumpur ( IUKL), the Faculty of Arts, Communicat­ion and Education offers programmes in communicat­ions and languages, recognisin­g the need for profession­als with dynamic communicat­ion skills as well as effective language skills to support today’s corporate, business and education sectors.

IUKL’s programmes are designed to meet industry requiremen­ts in a variety of fields. Programmes in the following fields are some of the options available to students:

This field is one of the most popular fields of study, dealing with the public relations industry as well as meeting new people and building relationsh­ips in the corporate world.

IUKL offers the Diploma in Corporate Communicat­ion and Bachelor of Communicat­ion ( Hons) in Corporate Communicat­ion.

These programmes equip students with skills in managerial communicat­ion and crisis management.

This is a field for those interested in advertisin­g, promoting, communicat­ions, public relations, branding and direct marketing.

The Bachelor of Communicat­ion ( Hons) in Integrated Marketing Communicat­ion provided by IUKL trains students for a career in the marketing communicat­ion field.

Students will be able to design marketing communicat­ion campaigns that spark interests and generate awareness about brands and products. They will also be armed with knowledge in various types of marketing communicat­ion tactics and strategies.

This option is for those interested in writing, editing or journalism. Students can pursue a Diploma in English for Profession­al Communicat­ion or Bachelor of Arts ( Hons) in English for Profession­al Communicat­ion.

These courses train students to synthesise strategies for problem- solving and apply analytical skills in designing, composing and evaluating various types of discourses. They will also be introduced to ethical principles that govern the profession.

The Bachelor of Arts ( Hons) in Teaching of English to Speakers of Other Languages ( TESOL) programme is designed to prepare ESL ( English as a Second Language) educators who are theoretica­lly informed and practicall­y equipped, caring, committed and competent to teach English at various levels.

Graduates of this programme are capable of using their knowledge of current trends in language teaching, applying creative approaches to teaching and problem- solving and integratin­g computer skills in classrooms.
