Prestigious law degree
MALAYSIAN students choosing to pursue a Bachelor of Laws ( LLB) at the University of Sheffield are in good company.
Chief Justice of Malaysia Tun Arifin Zakaria graduated with a law degree from the said university and is an active alumnus. He returns on occasions to meet, inspire and encourage current Malaysian law students in Sheffield.
Sheffield’s LLB Law provides a pathway to the legal profession and is approved by the Legal Profession Qualifying Board Malaysia.
About 95% of Sheffield’s law graduates go straight into employment or further their studies upon graduating.
The law graduates can also pursue a range of other careers, including government advisory bodies or commercial companies with in- house legal departments.
Subject to visa requirements and completion of a further training course, it is also possible for the students to practise law in England.
