MATTA Fair which starts from to­mor­row un­til Sun­day ( Sept 2 to 4) will see the Ma­cao Gov­ern­ment Tourism Of­fice ( MGTO) pro­mot­ing the city’s his­tory, iconic cul­tural sights and var­i­ous events hap­pen­ing in Ma­cao be­tween Septem­ber and De­cem­ber. The events to look out for are the 28th Ma­cao In­ter­na­tional Fire­works Dis­play Con­test, 30th Ma­cao In­ter­na­tional Mu­sic Fes­ti­val, Ma­cao Food Fes­ti­val, Suncity Group 63rd Ma­cau Grand Prix, Pa­rade through Ma­cao, Latin City, Ma­cao In­ter­na­tional Marathon, Ma­cao Light Fes­ti­val and the 1st In­ter­na­tional Film Fes­ti­val and Awards – Ma­cao.

For va­ca­tion­ers seek­ing the best travel deals to Ma­cao, at­trac­tive pack­ages are avail­able from par­tic­i­pat­ing travel agents at the fair. Air­link Travel and Tour Sdn Bhd, Pearl Hol­i­day Travel and Tour Sdn Bhd, Golden Trop­ics Travel and Tours Sdn Bhd, Eden Tours and Travel Sdn Bhd, Roys­tar Travel and Tours Sdn Bhd and Cor­po­rate In­for­ma­tion Travel Sdn Bhd ( CIT) are some agents to look out for.

Pack­ages start from as low as RM599 for a 3D/ 2N stay. Be­sides Mono Ma­cao pack­ages, there are also Ma­cao pack­ages with multi- des­ti­na­tions cov­er­ing the Pearl River Delta re­gion of­fered at the fair.

The first 300 vis­i­tors to pur­chase any Ma­cao pack­ages from par­tic­i­pat­ing travel agents dur­ing the travel fair with a min­i­mum of one- night stay in Ma­cao will be able to re­deem travel gifts from the Ma­cao booth lo­cated at Hall 1, Booth No. 1443- 1446 at Pu­tra World Trade Cen­tre ( PWTC). Vis­i­tors will also be able to re­deem mys­tery gifts at the Ma­cao booth by lik­ing Ma­cao Tourism Malaysia on Face­book.

To cel­e­brate the up­com­ing 28th Ma­cao In­ter­na­tional Fire­works Dis­play Con­test – Ma­cao’s yearly fire­works ex­trav­a­ganza – vis­i­tors are able to cre­ate their own fire­works sparks and take it home as a sou­venir.

“Sport­ing the ‘ Ex­pe­ri­ence Ma­cao Your Own Style’ theme to show­case Ma­cao as a unique mixed cul­ture des­ti­na­tion of East and West, the Ma­cao booth will also see par­tic­i­pa­tion from Co­tai Ferry pro­mot­ing ferry ser­vices and Crowne Plaza Ma­cao pro­mot­ing their ho­tel,” said Cherry Lee from MGTO.
