Fox Movies Premium, Astro Ch 413/ HD Ch 433, 5.50pm After being struck by debris during a storm on a mission on Mars, Mark Watney ( Matt Damon) is presumed dead by his crew and the people back on Earth. However, when the dust settles ( quite literally, since there are lots of sandstorms on Mars), Watney finds himself stranded and alone on the desolate planet. With minimal supplies left behind by the team, Watney will have to use his wits and his willpower to survive. Thankfully, he happens to be a scientist and a botanist, so he should be able to produce his own oxygen, and even food for sustenance. There’s just one problem with his plan – no one else knows he’s still alive.
