A moonlight celebration

-

MID- Autumn Festival is an annual Chinese traditional festival celebrated on the 15th day of the eighth month in the Chinese calendar. During this festival, family and friends gather to rejoice and give thanks for a harmonious life under a beautiful full moon.

The Mid- Autumn Festival falls during the autumn equinox when the moon is at its brightest and roundest. Commemorating this age- old custom, Atria Shopping Gallery ( Atria) is decorated with colourful lanterns, while various performances, family activities and a Mid- Autumn bazaar are lined up to cherish our heritage and keep our tradition alive. This is ongoing until Sept 15.

Themed Moonlight Celebration, Atria is having a beautifully decorated Mid- Autumn Bazaar at Centre Court, Concourse Floor, while the common area of the same floor is decorated with many colourful lanterns to create a festive ambience for shoppers.

Shoppers can indulge in a wide and exquisite selection of mooncakes and elegant Mid- Autumn gifts for family, friends and business partners at the Atria MidAutumn Bazaar.

Patrons can find varieties of mooncakes ranging from the traditional lotus seed paste and egg yolk to modern mooncakes filled with chocolate and champagne truffle at Atria. These yummy delights are available at mooncake vendor outlets, which include Baker’s Cottage, Oversea, Swiss- Garden Hotel Kuala Lumpur, Purple Cane and others.

The fun doesn’t stop there. Patrons shopping at Atria stand a chance to be rewarded with shopping vouchers worth over RM10,000.

Shoppers who spend RM100 and above in a maximum of two sameday receipts, ongoing until Sept 15, is entitled to redeem a Ying Ker Lou Hakka Cuisine Restaurant voucher worth RM10 or Mid- Autumn Bazaar voucher worth RM5. Redemptions can be made at the Concierge Counter, Concourse Floor, while stocks last.

This redemption is not valid for purchases made at the Money Changer. Other terms and conditions apply.

The main highlight of the campaign is the Family LanternMaking Competition, which will be held at Centre Court, Concourse Floor, on Sept 4 at 12.30pm.

The family event, held to cultivate family values, is open to the public of all ages for families with a minimum number of two up to a maximum of four members.

Shoppers who are interested to participate are welcomed to register at the Concierge Counter located at the Concourse Floor before the event.
