Bringing together East and West

-

DOUX Visage is the first company of its kind in Malaysia to combine Eastern and Western technologies for both beauty and slimming treatments to achieve immediate, long-lasting effects that are apparent in just one treatment.

Doux Visage Clinique Enterprise was founded in 2002 as a beauty and slimming salon, treating mainly skin and obesity conditions. Since 2006, the company changed its name to Doux Visage Sdn Bhd and has evolved into a centre for overall well-being.

Its recent Most Promising Award at the SOBA 2016 recognises Doux Visage’s potential for growth in terms of financial status, capacity and impactful contribution to society. The win also highlights the company’s uniqueness and creativity.

According to its founder Dr Jenny Goh (PhD), “This award has brought recognition and job satisfaction to myself and all team members.

“After 21 years of hard work in the (Health and Beauty) industry, being presented with this award is indeed a great honour. There is still a long way to go in terms of progress but my immediate plans are to continue to improve my skills and knowledge as a Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner, lead my team to greater success and look into franchising as a business model.”

As to what makes Doux Visage stand out, Goh said, “Personally, I believe it is consistency and believing in yourself along with hard work and dedication – anything can be achieved.

“As for our clients, our dedicated team provides the best tailor-made services to suit every individual’s needs to ensure they not only get instant results in just one treatment, but for the long run, outcomes have to be just as good.”

Head-to-toe beauty treatment

Doux Visage provides head-totoe treatment for health and beauty combining Eastern acupuncture with Western modern technology. The most popular treatment among its clientele for body is the acupuncture treatment combining phyto-hormones treatment for health, slimming and beauty, while Face Toning (V-shape) therapy is in high demand for facial treatment.

Goh added, “From here, we can see an increasing number of clients who have self-awareness and the desire to improve their health to achieve both internal and external beauty.”

Despite increasing competition, Goh manages to keep Doux Visage at the forefront. She said, “I believe we are different, as we target not only external beauty, but also address the issue of modern subhealth conditions, which can lead to serious illness or affect our external beauty, such as obesity, pre-menstrual symptoms, pre- and post-menopausal symptoms and premature ageing.

Tailor-made treatments

“All our treatments are tailored to suit each individual’s needs, meaning that at Doux Visage, there is no one single treatment for everyone.”

She added, “There have been many challenges along the way, especially as we were the first and still the only one to operate an East meets West practice in the country. The risk has paid off enormously well as we have seen great success in treating our clients and grown exponentially.”

“Change in this industry is inevitable and we cope with change by constantly improving and updating our skills and knowledge to stay ahead of the pack.

“We have also been fortunate our clients have trusted us throughout their treatment period and continued to be with us all these years to maintain the well-being that they have achieved, ensuring that our business is sustainable.”

Having just extended its outlet from one shop lot to two in its own premises in 2015, Doux Visage continues to strive to provide the best service in accordance with its slogan: “Your Satisfaction, Our Assurance!”

Future direction

On future plans, Goh said, “Our direction is to move towards the medical field as after completing my PhD in traditional Chinese medicine at Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, I hope to be able to expand our company into a traditional chinese medicine centre for health, slimming and beauty.”
