Video-streaming platform dimsum now carries popular Asean travel-focused channel GoAsean.

YOU can now travel around South-East Asia from the comfort of your own video device – the popular Asean travel-focused channel GoAsean is available on video-streaming platform dimsum.

As the world’s first Asean travel initiative to promote South-East Asia as a single tourism destinatio­n, GoAsean offers a tantalisin­g line-up of original content.

“We are excited to partner up with dimsum to promote tourism to South-East Asia through our high-quality content. We hope our award-winning original series will provide dimsum subscriber­s with South-East Asian content and inspire them to travel more within the region,” said Edwin Raj, GoAsean’s senior vice president of sales, marketing and business developmen­t.

“Our very first Mandarin original series will also premiere on the dimsum platform later this year. Our collaborat­ion with regional content partners like GoAsean is an example of how dimsum is committed to provide great Asian content,” added dimsum chief marketing officer Lam Swee Kim.

Some of the highlights on GoAsean include Unseen Malaysia, The Eco Traveller, Go Fast Or Go Home, The Halal Foodie, Go Travel, Happy Endings, GrandEscap­es , Lost At SEA, Off The Hook, Paradise Wedding, Strange Encounters, Supper Heroes, Wedding & Honeymoon Destinatio­n, Go Explore and Food Maps.

In Go Fast Or Go Home, Malaysian profession­al racing star Daniel Woodroof goes around South-East Asia participat­ing in a series of unique cultural races.

The Halal Foodie sees Malaysian comedian Papi Zak travel from country to country to find the best Halal eateries in the Asean region. He also co-hosts Happy Endings with Razif Hashim, which sees the two comedians going on a road trip to experience all that South-East Asia has to offer, sampling its various food and culture.

Fans of ghost stories should definitely check out Strange Encounters which visits spooky destinatio­ns around the region; while fishing enthusiast­s would love Off The Hook, in which host Qi Razali checks out the best angling spots around South-East Asia.
