Soar with aviation
THE affordability of air travel has led to a significant growth in the air carrier industry, creating a huge demand for aircraft maintenance staff.
Qualified aircraft maintenance personnel – especially those who are allowed to certify aircraft worthiness – command high salaries and are constantly in demand in the industry.
Upon completion of the SPM exam, students are able to enrol in the Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering programme at Nilai University.
The duration for this programme is two-and-a-half years, including six months of industrial attachment with industry partners.
Nilai University currently has 20 industrial partners, which include AirAsia X, AirAsia, Sepang Aircraft Engineering Sdn Bhd and Executive Jets Asia.
Once this has been completed, students can either gain employment or choose to enrol in the university’s Advanced Diploma in Aircraft Engineering Technology, which is a one-year programme, and be awarded a BSC (Hons) Aircraft Engineering from Kingston University, UK.
Nilai University’s Advanced Diploma in Aircraft Engineering Technology is a highly sought-after course as it incorporates the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) syllabus which prepares students for the EASA licence examination.
The EASA is a part of the European Union’s strategy for aviation safety, promoting the highest common standards of safety and environmental protection in civil aviation.
Nilai University prides itself in offering students a wholesome environment to motivate them to achieve their true potential.
The university campus has dedicated teaching facilities as well as on-campus living facilities to support students in their pursuit of excellence.
