A starry and rockin’ Raya feast
HARD Rock Hotel Penang has lined up a rockin’ feast, with authentic local delicacies, to celebrate the upcoming festivities.
From June 5 to 23, guests can enjoy the Bintang Rock Buffet Dinner at the Starz Diner, priced at only RM88nett for adults, and RM48nett per child.
It offers a mouth-watering plethora of appetisers, hot dishes, Arabian delicacies, kebabs, charcoal-grilled items, desserts and so much more.
For starters, be sure to sample signature offerings like the Sotong Kangkung, Cucur Udang, Som Tam, Pasembor and freshly-made Poh Piah with a variety of fillings and condiments.
Hearty traditional soups like Sup Ekor, Soto Ayam Berempah, Tom Kah Gai (Thai Chicken with Coconut and Lemongrass), Sup Kambing Berempah, and the all-time-favourite Bubur Lambuk are also on the menu.
Dig into the Arabian flavours of the Braised Lamb Shank, served with a side of rice, cous cous, chutney and yoghurt – the signature dish of executive chef Zulkapli Hatim which is guaranteed to tickle your palate.
The Nasi Kandar is not to be missed, as it comes with delicious complements like Yogurt Madras Chicken, Lamb Chop Vindaloo, Beef Masala with Chicken Peas, and Fried Cabbage with Turmeric.
Other local-inspired offerings include the Tandoori Skewers of Lamb, Chicken and Beef, Marinated Lamb or Chicken Kebab, and Lamb Kofta Balls on Baba Ghanoush.
Travel back in time to satisfy your sweet cravings with homemade traditional local desserts such as Ais Kacang, Hot Red Bean Soup, Mung Bean Soup, Bubur Cha Cha and varieties of local Nyonya Kuih.
Apart from these, the hotel chefs have also whipped up other international sweets like Choux Pastries, Fruit Pudding and Hot Chocolate Pudding, while there is also a Pancake Station.
The Bintang Rock Buffet is served from 6.30pm to 10.30pm nightly during the promotion period, except on Saturdays when the Seafood On The Rocks Buffet Dinner is available instead. That is priced at RM99nett per person.
Hard Rock Hotel Penang is also offering a ‘Relax and Feast Package’ starting from only RM450++ per room per night.
Designed to cater to guests’ needs during this fasting season, it pampers one like a Rock Star with a choice of Early Bird Breakfast from 4am to 5.30am or Buffet Breakfast from 6.30am to 11.00am, as well as Bintang Rock Buffet for dinner, for two adults and two children.
