Affordable quality education

-

“HOW do you think we build a future? I think we build it by investing in our kids and investing in education,” American academic and politician Elizabeth Warren once said.

First City University College (First City UC) helps you to discover your bright future through the building of a strong foundation from the moment you first set foot in its campus.

It invests in your education by nurturing you to become a graduate who is industry-ready and able to secure employment as soon as you complete your tertiary education.

First City UC students and graduates are highly soughtafter. Many of them were offered jobs before graduating while some received on-the-spot job offers during students’ portfolio showcases and project exhibitions, which were often attended by industry representatives and prospective employers.

> Foundations with pathways to various programmes

First City UC offers three university foundation programmes, namely Foundation in Art and Design, Foundation in Business Administration and Foundation in Engineering, Science and Technology.

Each of the one-year intensive course leads to further specialised undergraduate degree programmes in business, mass communication, hospitality and tourism management, design and built environment, engineering and computing.

During the year, you are required to study for three semesters under specially designed modules to acquire basic knowledge and skills you can expand on when you pursue your degree programme.

These modules will help you discover your passion and interest, after which you can opt for subjects and elective modules related to the disciplines you wish to specialise in during the second and third semesters.

Upon completion of the foundation course, you would be able to start your first year in the degree programme of your choice.

> Industry-relevant programmes

First City UC is committed to making education accessible and affordable to all without compromising on quality.

It offers industry-relevant programmes at affordable fees as well as various financial assistance in the form of scholarships, incentives and attractive discounts on tuition fees.

Students who wish to pursue its foundation programmes can take advantage of the all-in-one package, which allows them to register for any of the foundation programmes at zero fees* if they commit to continue with a bachelor’s degree programme at First City UC.

Students can enjoy a further 30% discount* off the first semester’s tuition fees once they commence with the degree programme.

This offer is limited to a first come, first served basis.

The last intake for the foundation programme will commence in July.

* Terms and conditions apply.

Intake in progress

Registration is open for other programmes at diploma, degree and Master’s levels for intakes in August, September and October.

Students will be able to enjoy the early bird discount off the first semester’s tuition fees if they register now.

For more information about the various programmes, scholarships and incentives offered at First City UC, students are welcome to visit the campus during its June Open Day on June 17 and 18 from 10am to 6pm.
